Due to the high number of questions that I receive, I decided to create a Cosplay FAQ section for my website. Please read through the questions first before you contact me by e-mail.
Cosplay FAQ
Where did you buy your costumes?
The costumes that you see on my website cannot be purchased anywhere. As a cosplayer, I make all of my costumes as a hobby. I have been sewing for many years, and sewing is my passion. All the costumes that you see on my website are the result of hours of hard work and effort. The simpler costumes average about 20 hours to make. My Sailor Mars costumes each took about 60 hours to make. My more elaborate costumes such as Lulu, Seymour, and Rikku from Final Fantasy X each took about 100 hours to make.
Can I buy any of your costumes?
Sorry, my costumes are not for sale. But there are many other places where you can buy costumes. You can purchase costumes from Moon Costumes, ebay, or other costume commission sites.
Can you make a costume for me?
Sorry, I do not take any costume commissions. But I am more than happy to answer any question that you may have in regards on how I made my costumes.
How did you make your Sailor Mars costume?
My Sailor Mars costume is based off the patterns that you see on Lynleigh’s website. All you need to do is to visit her Cosplay FAQ. She has a tutorial on how to make a Sailor costume. Her website is:

I want to learn how to sew. Where do I begin?
You can start out by having a friend or a relative teach you how to sew. You can enroll in fashion design courses that are offered at local community colleges. You can even take sewing classes that may be offered at a sewing machine shop or JoAnn Fabrics. You may even take private sewing lessons from a local seamstress. The possibilities are endless. I started out by enrolling in a costume production class that was offered by UCIrvine drama department. I also recommend getting Simplicity: Simply the Best Sewing Book by Anne Marie Soto. Remember that learning how to sew requires a lot of practice and patience. Most of all, don't be afraid to ask questions!
